What we process
Public discussions may contain personal data. Private research uses Hacker News, Reddit, GitHub, Stack Exchange, Discourse forums, Bluesky and Apple App Store within applicable permissions. Public reports contain our own summaries, aggregate counts and permitted links, not copied posts or author names. Publication is limited to permitted sources; availability is not a licence.
Legitimate-interest assessment summary (draft)
Purpose: understand recurring software problems. Necessity: bounded public evidence rather than private access or enrichment. Balancing: minimize content, exclude sensitive data, use source-specific publication limits, limit retention and offer objections. This summary requires legal review; collection permissions and publication policy are separate checks. We do not profile people or sell identities.
Retention and processors
Source text is retained for at most 90 days, often less under source settings. Removal invalidates derived evidence. Customer identity is the WorkOS environment and user ID; email is used only for receipts. Tax records are retained under applicable Dutch tax rules (normally seven years), subject to legal review. Hosting, the configured model provider, WorkOS and Mollie process data as appropriate. Specific processor names, locations, agreements and transfer safeguards must be completed before launch. Marketing is a separate optional consent.
Launch notifications
If you explicitly request a launch notification, we store your email, the privacy-policy version and consent time only for that notification. No customer account or marketing subscription is created. Nothing is stored before consent. Requests are retained until the notification is sent or consent is withdrawn; contact C-Point Labs to withdraw or request erasure. Notification sending and erasure are owner-handled, not automatic.
Your rights
Ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, or object to legitimate-interest processing. Withdraw optional marketing consent at any time by contacting us. You can submit a public-post URL through our removal form. Tax obligations can limit deletion of purchase records. You may complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
