Read before you build
Your next starting point.
The current free report. The same format, evidence standard and care as every paid edition.
First edition / In preparation
Good research takes more than a promising headline.
Our first public report is being edited. It will appear here only after its evidence, competitors and source links pass review.
No invented sample. No unsupported counts.
01 / The method
From public discussion to a clearer decision.
01 / Collect
Listen in the right places.
We collect public discussions from sources that allow it, within defined retention and publication limits.
02 / Curate
Keep the recurring problems.
We look for independent people describing the same problem, and check the named competitors and current workarounds.
03 / Read
Start with a useful brief.
You get a short report you can act on. Read it, follow the evidence, then talk to people before building.
02 / Inside every report
Enough substance.
No noise.
A consistent editorial format. Read it on screen, download the Markdown, or print a clean PDF from your browser.

03 / Why trust the work
The evidence is the point.
So are its limits.
A floor, not a score.
At least five independent authors across two sources. Recent competitor checks. Re-checked links. Those are publication requirements—not proof of demand.
No scraped quotes. No names.
Our reports use our own words, aggregate counts and source links. Blocked and unknown sources stay out of published evidence.

05 / A few fair questions
Before you dive in.
Where does the evidence come from?
Publication currently permits Stack Exchange, GitHub, Bluesky, and the Home Assistant and Grafana forums under source-specific limits. Other sources may inform private research, but blocked or unreviewed sources never count toward a public report. Public availability alone is not permission.
What does ‘independent authors’ mean?
We deduplicate source identities, URLs and duplicate content. Unknown identities do not count as independent authors. We cannot reliably identify the same person across different platforms, so the count has that limitation.
Can I get a refund?
Contact C-Point Labs if there is a problem with your purchase. Statutory rights remain. Immediate digital access requires explicit consent to losing the withdrawal right once access starts. The detailed terms are still a draft pending legal review.
How often do new reports appear?
When a problem meets the evidence threshold and the editorial checks are complete. There is no promised publishing schedule or minimum volume. A subscription covers all published reports while active.
Is this validation?
No. Evidence of a recurring problem does not establish willingness to buy your solution. Use the report to decide who to speak to and what to test next.
